Well it was a cold but fun day in New York. After our long ride, we entered into NYC through the Lincoln Tunnel and met our tour guide Alice Deveraux at Battery Park who promptly escorted us on the the boat for our harbor boat cruise. There we saw Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan Island, and the Brooklyn Bridge. We then went to the 9/11 Memorial which was very emotional and surreal for those of us who remember what happened. The sheer size of the space and amount of casualties is staggering. We also visited Wall Street, St. Paul's Chapel, Chinatown and had a fantastic dinner at Ping's Restaurant. Time for some sleep for a busy day tomorrow.
