Wow what a day! After breakfast, we left bright and early, departing for Carnegie Hall. (Do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice!) While there, we were treated with an outstanding tour of the facility. Standing in that hall is like standing on musical holy ground.

After CH, we walked up to Central Park. There we saw the Strawberry Fields (based on John Lennon's famous song). We also visited the fountain, saw street performers, and took in the natural beauty of the park.

After lunch and a brief visit to Lincoln Center, we performed on the deck of the USS Intreped to an enthusiastic crowd. We then walked around the ship, taking in it's technical marvels.

The final event of the day was attending a show at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola Jazz Club. We heard fantastic musicians from the Manhattan School of Music perform and even got to meet the late great Charles Mingus' widow, Sue Mingus. All in all, things went very well today. Here are some pics from today: Day 3 Pics
